Elliptical FAQ

What's the difference between an elliptical and a treadmill for cardio?
Ellipticals are low-impact: your feet never leave the pedals, so there's no impact stress on knees, hips, or ankles. Treadmills are higher-impact but burn slightly more calories at the same intensity. Pick elliptical if you have joint concerns or want a quieter workout; pick treadmill if you specifically want to train running.

Are ellipticals good for low-impact rehab?
Yes — ellipticals are commonly used in physiotherapy and post-injury rehab because they let you build cardio fitness without joint stress. Always consult your physiotherapist on resistance levels and session length.

How much space does an elliptical need?
Most home ellipticals require about 1.8 × 0.7 m of floor space plus 0.5 m clearance behind and on each side for safe use. Commercial models are larger (around 2 × 0.9 m). Ceiling height of 2.2 m+ recommended for tall users.

What max user weight do your ellipticals support?
Our home ellipticals typically support up to 130 kg. Commercial models (Precor, BH Fitness) support 150-180 kg. Check each product page for the exact spec.

Is installation included?
For commercial ellipticals, yes — we include professional assembly and calibration. For home models, ellipticals arrive partially assembled with a setup guide; we can quote installation if you'd prefer it done for you.

Can I try ellipticals in person?
Yes. Our Sheraton Heliopolis showroom has multiple ellipticals on display — magnetic home models alongside commercial Precor and BH Fitness machines. Drop by to compare resistance feel, stride length, and console quality.
