Cross Fit Equipment

Rowing machines, SkiErg, air bikes and bumper plates — the conditioning tools at the heart of CrossFit-style training, for home boxes and commercial gyms alike.

CrossFit Equipment FAQ

What do I need to start CrossFit-style training at home?
A conditioning machine (rower, air bike, or SkiErg), a set of bumper plates with a bar, and a plyo box cover the core of most WODs. Add battle ropes and kettlebells and you can run a complete program in a garage-sized space.

Rower, air bike, or SkiErg — which should I choose?
The rower is the best all-rounder, engaging around 86% of your muscles per stroke. The air bike is the go-to for brutal HIIT intervals — resistance scales infinitely with your effort. The SkiErg emphasizes upper body and core with low impact on the legs. Serious boxes eventually own all three.

What's the difference between magnetic, air, and water rowers?
Magnetic rowers are quiet and compact — ideal for apartments. Air and hybrid (magnetic + air) rowers add resistance that scales with stroke power, the standard feel for CrossFit. Water rowers replicate on-water rowing with a smooth, natural catch and the sound of moving water.

Why bumper plates instead of iron plates?
Bumper plates are dense rubber with a standard Olympic 50 mm collar — designed to be dropped safely from overhead during cleans, snatches, and jerks without damaging floors or bars. Iron plates are for controlled lifts only.

What warranty do you offer on CrossFit equipment?
All equipment carries a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, with spare parts availability in Egypt.

Can I try the machines before buying?
Yes. Our Sheraton Heliopolis showroom has rowers, air bikes, and the SkiErg on display — come row a few hundred meters and feel the difference yourself.
