Multi-Station Home Gyms — Union Sport Selection Guide
A multi-station home gym brings 30+ different exercises into a single piece of equipment, replacing the need for multiple machines or a gym membership. Using a system of pulleys, cables, and integrated weight stacks, you can train chest, back, shoulders, legs, and arms safely in a compact footprint.
The four Union Sport models
- Classic: Entry-level model with a 45 kg integrated weight stack and a single training station. Best for beginners and families who want a starter setup. Lowest price, smallest footprint.
- Plus: Mid-range model with 60 kg stack plus a dedicated Pec Deck station for chest and shoulder work. Suited to intermediate lifters who need more exercise variety.
- Pro: Pro-level model with 80 kg stack and two independent stations — two people can train simultaneously. Built for daily intensive use and serious home trainers.
- Elite: Top tier with expandable weights up to 100 kg, 4 training stations, plus a pull-up bar and squat rack. The closest you'll get to a commercial gym experience at home.
Space and weight considerations
Before choosing, measure your available space. The Classic needs roughly 1.5×1.5 m with 2 m ceiling height; the Elite needs 2.5×2 m with 2.2 m ceiling. All models are freestanding — no wall mounting required — but the floor should be level and load-bearing, since the machines themselves weigh from 120 kg (Classic) up to 280 kg (Elite).
Home Gym FAQ
What space do I need for a multi-station home gym?
The Classic model needs about 1.5 × 1.5 m with 2 m ceiling clearance. The Pro and Elite models need 2.5 × 2 m with 2.2 m ceiling. Always add 0.5 m clearance on each side for safe entry and exit.
Which model is best for beginners?
The Classic. It has the essential exercises (lat pulldown, chest press, leg curl/extension, low row), a manageable 45 kg weight stack, and the smallest footprint. You can always upgrade later, but most beginners use the Classic for years.
Can two people train at the same time?
Only the Pro and Elite support simultaneous use — they have two independent stations. Classic and Plus are single-station, designed for one user at a time.
Do you include installation?
Yes — multi-station home gyms include professional installation in Cairo and most governorates. The installer handles unboxing, assembly (typically 2-4 hours), and a walk-through on how to use each station.
What's the warranty on home gyms?
2 years on the frame and weight stack, 1 year on cables and pulleys, 6 months on upholstery. Replacement parts are available for years after purchase.
Can I try a home gym in person?
All four models are on display at our Sheraton Heliopolis showroom. Visit to compare size, weight stack feel, and which exercises each model supports.
